Goodwood revival

We’ve been going to the Goodwood Revival for over a decade now, so when we were given the chance to film the wonderful Annie Filler and her band MISS ANNIE AND THE MIDNIGHT SHIFT at the event, we jumped at the chance.

Miss Annie and the Midnight Shift aren’t a boring, cheesy tribute band; they are master craftspeople, bringing all of your favourite vintage music back to life with skilled musicians and Miss Annie’s phenomenal vocals . They regularly play up and down the country (and in Paris very shortly!) and you can guarantee the dance floor will be packed at every venue, regardless of the size. I can’t dance to save my life but was still found flailing some shapes when filming ended.

As for Goodwood Revival, if you haven’t been, you’re really missing out. It’s not just a motorsport event, it’s an entirely unique experience - and there’s something for everyone there - from fairground rides to fashion (modern and vintage!) and entertainment that goes late into the night.

We filmed the band and most of the footage you see here in the late afternoon, as the sun was slowly setting on a relatively warm, early autumn day. Next year we’ll be back to capture an entire day’s fun.
